Intel 2467M

El Intel Core i5-2467M es un eficiente procesador ULV (Voltaje Ultra Bajo) para portátiles ligeros y delgados. La frecuencia base de 1.6 GHz es relativamente baja, pero gracias a Turbo Boost 2.0, la CPU puede alcanzar hasta 2.3 GHz (con un núcleo cargado, 2.5 GHz con ambos núcleos cargados). Sin embargo, esto depende de la refrigeración y del consumo de energía del portátil. Gracias al HyperThreading, el i7-2677M puede manejar 4 hilos en paralelo. Comparado con el ligeramente mas lento i5-2537M, la 2467 ofrece una velocidad de reloj base mas rápida (1.6 vs 1.4GHz).

Sandy Bridge es el sucesor evolutivo de la arquitectura Arrandale. La mejora mas notable es el mejorado Turbo 2.0 y la integración de la tarjeta gráfica en el núcleo CPU de 32nm. La 2467M no ofrece todas las características del núcleo Sandy Bridge, p. ej. VPro, no están habilitadas VT-d o Trusted Execution.

La gráfica integrada Intel HD Graphics 3000 con la tasa de reloj de 350 o 1150MHz (Turbo Boost). Debido a la tasa de reloj mas lenta, comparado con otra HD Graphics 3000 (normalmente 650-1100/1300MHz en procesadores no LV), el rendimiento debería ser notablemente inferior.

El rendimiento de la CPU debería ser algo mas alto que el de un Core i5 Arrandale a velocidad similar. Por tanto, el rendimiento debería ser similar al del Core i7-680UM / Core i3-330M.

El TDP de 17W (incluye la GPU integrada y el controlador de memoria) permite el uso de la CPU 2467M CPU en pequeños subnotebooks.
