AMD Ryzen 9 7900X
El AMD Ryzen 9 7900X es un rápido procesador de sobremesa de gama alta de la serie Raphael. Ofrece 12 núcleos basados en la arquitectura Zen 4 que soporta hyperthreading (24 hilos). Los núcleos funcionan a frecuencias que oscilan entre 4,7 (base) y 5,7 GHz (single core boost). Cuando los 12 núcleos están a plena carga, la velocidad de reloj máxima es de 5,1 GHz. El 7900X es el segundo Ryzen más rápido en su lanzamiento, sólo superado por el Ryzen 9 7950X con 4 núcleos más.
El rendimiento del R9 7900X es claramente mejor que el antiguo Ryzen 9 5900X gracias a la arquitectura mejorada y al moderno proceso de 5nm. Comparado con el Intels Raptor Lake Core i9-13700K, el rendimiento mononúcleo es ligeramente inferior y el rendimiento multinúcleo es ligeramente superior. El rendimiento en juegos es algo inferior, y de media sólo está a la par con el Core i5-13600K y también es inferior al antiguo Ryzen 7 5800X3D.
La serie Raphael sigue usando un diseño de chiplet con dos clústeres CCD (cada uno con 8 núcleos posibles) en 5nm y un IO-die (que incluye el controlador de memoria y la iGPU Radeon Graphics) en 6nm.
