Intel i9-10900K

El Intel Core i9-10900K es un procesador de gama alta para ordenadores de sobremesa con diez núcleos basado en la arquitectura Comet Lake (CML-S, cuarta generación de Skylake). El procesador alcanza una frecuencia de entre 3,7 y 5,3 GHz (los 10 núcleos hasta 4,8 GHz) y puede ejecutar hasta veinte hilos simultáneamente gracias a Hyper-Threading. Los 5,3 GHz sólo pueden alcanzarse por debajo de los 70°C de temperatura del núcleo (Thermal Velocity Boost de 100 MHz).

El procesador se sigue fabricando en el antiguo proceso de 14nm (14nm++). En comparación con su predecesor, el Core i9-9900K, el 10900K ofrece mayores velocidades de reloj y dos núcleos más. Gracias al multiplicador libre, la CPU también puede ser fácilmente overclockeada (pero puede no tener mucho margen de maniobra).

La arquitectura Comet Lake es similar a la de Coffee Lake y ofrece las mismas características y se produce en el mismo proceso de 14nm. Aparte de las mejoras en la velocidad de reloj, el controlador de memoria también admite ahora una memoria RAM DDR4-2933 más rápida. Rendimiento

Gracias al elevado Turbo Boost, la CPU es la más rápida para juegos disponible en el momento del anuncio. Usando todos los núcleos, el i9 sin embargo es más lento que las CPUs Ryzen superiores (como el Ryzen 9 3950X) que ofrecen más núcleos.

Gráficos

Se supone que la iGPU integrada Intel UHD Graphics 630 ofrece un rendimiento similar a la UHD630 del Core i7-9900K. Al ser una solución de gama baja, solo ejecutará los juegos actuales con fluidez y a detalles reducidos, si es que lo hace.

Consumo de energía

Intel especifica el TDP con 125 vatios (PL1) pero bajo carga completa se consumen hasta 250 vatios (PL2). En el modo predeterminado, estos 250 vatios y, por lo tanto, las altas velocidades de reloj se pueden mantener hasta 56 segundos; sin embargo, todas las placas ofrecen la opción de modificar estos ajustes.
