Intel i7-11850H

El Intel Core i7-11800H es un SoC octa core de gama alta para portátiles de juegos y estaciones de trabajo móviles. Está basado en la generación Tiger Lake H45 y se anunciará a mediados de 2021. Integra ocho núcleos de procesador Willow Cove (16 hilos gracias a HyperThreading). La velocidad de reloj base depende de la configuración del TDP y a 45 vatios se sitúa en 2,4 GHz. La velocidad de refuerzo de un solo núcleo puede alcanzar hasta 4,6 GHz, todos los núcleos pueden alcanzar hasta 4,2 GHz. La CPU ofrece 24 MB de caché de nivel 3 y soporta memoria DDR4-3200. En comparación con el i7-11800H, de velocidad más lenta, el 11850H ofrece características de gestión profesional como Intel vPro, SIPP o TXT.

Gracias a la nueva arquitectura Tiger Lake, el i9-11850H debería ser similar o más rápido que el antiguo Intel Core i9-10875H (Comet Lake-H, 2,3 - 5,1 GHz, 16 MB L3) en rendimiento monohilo y multihilo y similar al Ryzen 9 5800H (Zen 3, 3,2 - 4,4 GHz, 16 MB L3). Por lo tanto, el i7 es adecuado incluso para tareas muy exigentes.

El SoC también incluye la tarjeta gráfica Xe mejorada, llamada UHD graphics, con los 32 UE.

Además, los SoCs Tiger Lake añaden compatibilidad con PCIe 4 (20 carriles en la serie H45), aceleración de hardware de IA y la integración parcial de Thunderbolt 4/USB 4 y Wi-Fi 6E en el chip.

El chip se produce en el proceso mejorado de 10nm (llamado 10nm SuperFin) de Intel, que debería ser comparable al proceso de 7nm de TSMC (por ejemplo, la serie Ryzen 4000). El TDP por defecto es de 45 W a 2,4 GHz de velocidad base, a 35 W la velocidad de reloj base disminuye a 2 GHz (cTDP a la baja).
