Intel Arc G3 Extreme

El Intel Arc G3 Extreme es un SoC rápido de gama media con 14 núcleos de la familia Panther Lake para dispositivos portátiles. El chip también cuenta con una potente iGPU de 12 núcleos.

Características

:

El Arc G3 Extreme integra un módulo de cálculo fabricado por Intel con su nuevo proceso 18A. Este incluye 2 núcleos P Cougar Cove de gran tamaño con una frecuencia de hasta 4,7 GHz, 8 núcleos E Darkmont y 4 núcleos E Darkmont LP (de bajo consumo) de tamaño reducido. También se han integrado la nueva NPU 5, con 46 TOPS INT8, y un procesador de imágenes IPU-7.5. El controlador de memoria integrado admite hasta 96 GB de LPDDR5(X)-8533.

El módulo de GPU incluye una potente iGPU denominada Intel Arc B390 con los 12 núcleos Xe3 y compatibilidad con el trazado de rayos. Sin embargo, en la Arc G3, la GPU funciona a una frecuencia de 2,3 GHz.

El tercer chiplet integra el controlador de plataforma con 12 carriles PCIe, 4 puertos Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 7 (R2) y Bluetooth Core 6.0. El controlador de plataforma está fabricado por TSMC.

Rendimiento

El rendimiento de la CPU en nuestras pruebas queda ligeramente por detrás del del Intel Core Ultra 5 338H (12 núcleos, pero con 4 potentes núcleos P a una frecuencia de hasta 4,7 GHz). El rendimiento en un solo hilo se queda ligeramente por detrás, en particular. En comparación con el AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme, que también está pensado para dispositivos portátiles, el Arc G3 Extreme le supera en un 6 % en nuestras pruebas.

El TDP del Arc G3 Extreme oscila entre 15 y 25 vatios (potencia base del procesador) y puede alcanzar brevemente los 80 vatios (potencia turbo máxima).
