Qualcomm SD 8cx Gen 3

La plataforma informática Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 es un SoC basado en ARM para portátiles Windows. Incorpora cuatro grandes núcleos de rendimiento ARM Cortex-X1 (hasta 3 GHz) y cuatro núcleos más pequeños ARM Cortex-A78 de hasta 2,4 GHz.

La plataforma informática también cuenta con un módem Snapdragon X62 5G con hasta 10 Gbps de descarga y 316 Mbps de subida. El módem WLAN integrado es compatible con Wi-Fi 6E (2x2) y el sistema de posicionamiento por satélite es compatible con BeiDou, Galileo, GLONASS, GPS, QZSS y SBAS. El motor de vídeo integrado admite decodificación H.264, H.265 y VP9 a 4K 120 fps.

Se espera que el rendimiento sea en torno a un 85% más rápido para la CPU y un 60% más rápido para la GPU en comparación con la generación anterior (Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2).

El chip se fabrica en el moderno proceso de 5nm de Samsung (5LPE) y está diseñado para portátiles sin ventilador (rango TDP de 7-9 vatios).
