Intel Core i7-11700
El Intel Core i7-11700 es un procesador de sobremesa de gama alta basado en la arquitectura Rocket Lake. Ofrece 8 núcleos y 16 subprocesos con frecuencias de reloj de entre 2,5 y 4,9 GHz. El TDP es de 65 vatios (PL1, límite de potencia en carga sostenida), pero el PL2 está fijado en unos 224 vatios para arranques de corta duración (hasta 56 segundos).
Los núcleos del procesador Sunny Cove (conocidos por los procesadores móviles Ice Lake) ofrecen cachés más grandes y un IPC mejorado (hasta un 19%). Además, el chip integra (parcialmente) WiFi 6E y Thunderbolt 4. La plataforma admite PCIe 4.0 e Intel DL Boost para aceleración de IA.
Los procesadores Rocket Lake-S más rápidos también incorporan una nueva gráfica Intel UHD 750 que se basa en la actual arquitectura Intel Xe (por ejemplo, Tiger Lake mobile).
El procesador se fabrica utilizando el antiguo proceso de 14 nm, como los predecesores Comet Lake.
