AMD R3 3100

El Ryzen 3 3100 es un barato procesador de escritorio de la serie Matisse con 4 núcleos y 8 hilos. Funciona desde 3,6 (base) - 3,9 GHz (potencia) y utiliza la microarquitectura Zen 2. Utiliza dos clusters CCX con dos núcleos cada uno. Por lo tanto, hay algunas desventajas en comparación con el más rápido Ryzen 3 3300X que utiliza los cuatro núcleos de un solo CCX-cluster. La CPU se fabrica en el moderno proceso de 7nm en TSMC. El dado de E/S del paquete está separado y se fabrica en 12 nm en Globalfoundries. El TDP está especificado a 65 vatios y por lo tanto el CPU no necesitará un gran enfriador de carne.

En aplicaciones multi-hilo el rendimiento del Ryzen 3 3100 puede llegar al viejo Core i7-7700K (un antiguo CPU de gama alta). En juegos y aplicaciones de un solo hilo, el rendimiento es ligeramente inferior ya que el Ryzen 3 3300X de mayor rendimiento está a la par del 7700K. Aún así, el 3100 puede ser una buena elección para un sistema de juego de nivel básico.
