El NVIDIA Quadro FX 3500M es la solución gráfica profesional actual de primera para uso móvil. El Quadro FX 3500M es especialmente adecuado para CAD, imagen digital -, edición de video y visualizaciones científicas (de acuerdo a NVIDIA). Probablemente está basado en NVIDIA GeForce Go 7950GTX. Por lo tanto puede esperarse un buen rendimiento para juegos. La tarjeta es enviada con controladores certificados para aplicaciones profesionales, las cuales no son optimizadas para juegos (de manera no oficial la instalación de controladores Forceware debería ser posible).

Los controladores de las series Quadro FX series son certificados para aplicaciones CAD (por ejemplo, AutoCad, Inventor, Solidstation, Solud Edge, ...) y aplicaciones DCC (por ejemplo Maya, 3DS Max, Lightwave 3D, ...) y ofrece precisión de 12-Bit para Subpixel, Antialiasingde imagen completa, Antialiasing acelerado para hardware para puntos y líneas y configuraciones adicionales optimizadas, las cuales son optimizadas para CAD y DCC.

Nvidia describe las series 3000 series como un paquete de poder para portátiles grandes y estructuradores de datos.
