NVIDIA GeForce MX550
La Nvidia GeForce MX550 (GN18-S5-A1, chip TU117-670-A1) es una tarjeta gráfica móvil de nivel básico para portátiles. Está basada en el antiguo chip Turing TU117 (como la antigua MX450) y utiliza un bus de memoria de 64 bits con memoria gráfica GDDR6. Las primeras pruebas de rendimiento muestran un aumento del 17% en comparación con la antigua GeForce MX450, lo que podría indicar un mayor número de sombreadores (1024 en lugar de 896). La GeForce MX570, de nombre similar, es un 30% más rápida y utiliza el chip Ampere GA107.
El rendimiento en juegos debería ser similar al de la antigua GeForce GTX 1050 Ti y, por tanto, los juegos exigentes sólo se ejecutarán en ajustes bajos con fluidez.
El chip TU117 se fabrica en un proceso TSMC de 12 nm y debería tener una potencia de 25 vatios TGP (como la antigua MX450).
