VIA Chrome9 HC

La tarjeta de video integrada (memoria compartida) VIA Chrome9 HC IGP se encuentra en el chipset VN896 para laptops.  El procesador de gráficos integrados (IGP) ofrece aceleración DirectX9.0 3D y un acelerador de video para MPEG playback.  Adaptación De-Interlacing y desbloqueo de Video posterior son soportados hasta una resolución de 1080i.

El rendimiento de VIA Chrome 9 HC IGP es únicamente la mitad de competidores actuales de tarjetas de video integradas (Intel GMA 950, AMD XPress 1100) e incluso un extendido con funciones DirectX 9.0 de la interface Aero (de Windows Vista) (uso posible, pero únicamente con interrupciones de movimiento).
