Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645
La Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645 (GT3e) es una placa gráfica de procesador que fue vista por primera vez en el Apple MacBook Pro 13 (básico, 2019) a mediados del 2019. Es similar a la Iris Plus Graphics 655 en las CPU de 28 Watts.
La llamada versión GT3e de la GPU Coffee-Lake todavía tiene 48 Unidades de Ejecución (UE), que pueden alcanzar hasta 1150 MHz dependiendo del modelo. Además de la caché eDRAM, la Iris 645 también puede acceder a la memoria del sistema (2x 64 bits DDR3L-2133/DDR4-2400) a través de la interfaz del procesador.
El rendimiento exacto de la Iris Plus Graphics 645 depende del modelo de la CPU, ya que la velocidad máxima y el tamaño de la memoria caché L3 pueden diferir un poco. La memoria del sistema (DDR3/DDR4) también influirá en el rendimiento.
Los chips más rápidos son los modelos Core i7 de alta velocidad como el Core i7-8557U. Dependiendo del juego, la Iris Plus 655 probablemente estará a la par con una GeForce 930M o GeForce 940MX dedicada y puede ofrecer un juego fluido en títulos modernos con configuraciones bajas a medianas.
El motor de vídeo reelaborado ahora soporta plenamente la decodificación de hardware de los vídeos H.265/HEVC. Sin embargo, contrario a Skylake, Kaby Lake ahora también decodifica H.265/HEVC Main 10 con una profundidad de colores de 10-bits, así como el codec VP9 de Google. La salida de vídeo es posible a través de DP 1.2/eDP 1.3 (hasta 3840 x 2160 @60 Hz), mientras que HDMI también es compatible con el estándar anterior 1.4a.
